Stubblemelt are a ‘quirky melodic’ rock band, currently unsigned, and they seem to be destined for great things. With vocals that echo chart conquerers The XX and a catchy, accessible sound that’s sure to bring in more fans than the band currently has, it appears to be only a matter of time until Stubblemelt get snapped up by a record label giant. Having two more music videos on the horizon, and a debut album scheduled for March 2014, Stubblemelt are undoubtedly one to watch. I can overlook the slightly cliche music video for ‘See Your Lovers’ because hey! who doesn’t love a good bit of lens flare and a Christmas jumper? With an earworm of a track to boot, they certainly are on to a winner.
