WET NUNS – Double A-side for Record Store Day

Yorkshire’s finest Blues-Punk-Stoner-Sludge outfit will be joining in with the Record Store Day festivities. Wet Nuns will release a double A-side featuring both of their singles released to date.

‘Throttle’ and ‘Heaven’s Below’ have both been freely available via the bands website but this will see the first physical release of the two tracks together. Latest single ‘Throttle’ has been going down a storm on the recent tour of the same name (Lyric Lounge Review were there to witness it), with it’s huge lumbering stoner riff and tar stained vocals. ‘Heaven’s Below’ has already become an old favourite for those who’ve ventured out to see the band on the road and see’s the band at an upbeat disco-punk tempo. Both tracks are well-worthy of gracing the Record Store Day roster.

Wet Nuns will also be playing an in-store gig at the Rough Trade East shop to celebrate the release and all things vinyl.

Record Store Day (RSD) will take place on Saturday 21st of April. There will be lots of official RSD releases available in limited quantities, for one day only by bands such as Mastodon, Iggy Pop, Arcade Fire and the Arctic Monkeys. Plenty of other bands will get in on the act too.

So April 21st, get yourself down to your local Record Store (if you are lucky enough to have one) and grab yourself a soon-to-be rare Wet Nuns first press!
