The UK’s hardest-working, tanktop-wearing, folk-parody legends, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican, are bringing their unrivalled mix of hilarity, musicianship, and crowd-pleasing chaos back to Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms this February – and if last year’s show was anything to go by, you’re in for an unforgettable night!

If you’ve never witnessed these Barnsley-based comedy-folk maestros in action, expect a night of sheer entertainment, packed with reworked classics, razor-sharp lyrics, and enough audience interaction to keep you grinning for days. With their trademark charm, energy, and questionable fashion choices, The Bar Stewards turn every gig into a proper knees-up, proving that folk music doesn’t have to be serious – but it does have to be fun.

Still unsure? Read our review of last year’s gig here – where we called them “bigger and more badass than ever.”

This event is proudly presented by Both Eyes Open, Nottingham’s premier live music promoters.

Whether you’re a long-time fan or a first-time gig-goer, you need to be at this show. Grab your ticket, grab a pint, and prepare to be Doonican’d!
