An unexpected triumph has emerged from the live circuit with the release of a new album documenting The Baby Seals’ performance at The Portland Arms, where they supported Lydia Lunch.
The recording positions the group ahead of their peers across the board, surpassing both female-fronted and all-female riot grrrl acts, as well as male indie-rock, indie-sleaze, and post-punk noise-makers who often take themselves too seriously.
