London duo Worldpeace DMT have followed up their acclaimed 2025 debut with a new second album titled Stick Around for Tea. Comprising Leo Fincham and Rowan Miles, who are also members of the Femcels, the group gained attention last year for their hyperliterate sound design and irreverent cultural references.
Following their August mixtape Flowers Powers, which leaned into live instrumentation, the new record revives the goofy, Sung Tongs-influenced sound of their earlier work while placing greater focus on songwriting. Centred loosely around the theme of childhood, the album combines whimsical lyrics about spiders and anthropomorphised guitars with a self-consciously childish vocal delivery, set against sophisticated musical arrangements and robust pop structures.
