#EnoughIsEnough
Grassroots music venues are vanishing fast. Last year alone, 125 small UK venues shut down. Rent’s up, bills are sky-high, and it feels like nobody’s listening. These aren’t just places for gigs—they’re where new bands get their break, where friends meet, where local culture comes alive.
We’ve started a petition to push the government for real funding and support. This isn’t just another campaign—this is about getting proper help from the people who can actually change the law. We want business rates sorted, direct grants—something real, not just empty promises.
How is this different from what the Music Venue Trust does?
The Music Venue Trust is brilliant. They fight for venues every day, run campaigns, and raise money. But this petition goes straight to the top: it’s about getting Parliament to step up with immediate support and policy changes, not just relying on charity.
If we don’t act now, even more venues will disappear.
Your signature could be the difference between another empty building and a stage where the next big thing gets discovered.
Add your name, share it with your mates, and let’s show the government we won’t let our scene die. Signing takes seconds—but sharing it could mean thousands more signatures. Forward it, post it, tag your friends—every share counts.
