InMe – Rock City 8/1/16 by Tanya Russell

inme

An awesome auditory blast kicks off our weekend with a storming support set from Inme prior to Alien Ant Farm’s anniversary tour gig.
With some fantastically frantic fretwork that has the crowd clapping and dancing along, the band performed metal laced melodies of belting beauty.
Performing songs of screaming intensity against a backdrop of instrumental lyricism, Inme keep the crowd rocking during a full throttle set.
A huge cheer echoes across the crowd as McPherson announces that they will play FIREFLY, which has the crowd singing along under strafing blue lights and flashing strobes as the drums reverberate through the room.
SAFE IN YOUR ROOM keeps the pace viciously fast and showcases INME’S ability to create choruses that the crowd can sing along to whilst banging their heads in a suitably enthusiastic manner.
Declaring it the ten year anniversary of his brother’s participation in the band, McPherson then launches into a brilliant rendition of UNDERDOSE, which has the crowd moshing along with the bass melody.
Concluding with a crashing crescendo in the form of FASTER THE CHASE, INME have performed a zealous set that has the crowd compelled to dance and sing along and is a worthy warm up to the highly anticipated return of Alien Ant Farm.
