With an acoustic first half and the full band coming together after the break, NMA pulled out a stonker of a gig to a super affectionate and delighted audience. Never was ‘something for everyone’ more appropriate
Starting off on stage with just Sullivan and guitarist Dean White, the set kicked off with title track Between Dog And Wolf, quickly followed by Stormclouds. The loyalty this band command from their fans is palpable; everyone knows every word to all the new material.
The second set is ‘plugged in’ so to speak and definitely turned up to 11. No Mirror No Shadow followed March In September, whilst One Of The Chosen and Wonderful Way To Go were performed with such an intensity that the hairs on the back of your neck stood up.
This show was very much an experience for all; there were kids amongst the adults, no doubt brought up on an NMA diet but no less enthused than the life long fans. The ever popular Christian Militia, Family and I Love The World, whipped everyone into a near religious euphoric state and you know what? I get it. There’s no one like these guys and I hope they’ll be touring for a long time yet.
