Nottingham Comedy Festival All-Dayer.

Comedy at Bunkers Hill, Nottingham

Funhouse Comedy brings more laughter to Bunkers Hill, Nottingham on Sunday September 23rd with a Nottingham Comedy Festival All-Dayer.

 Afternoon

2.00pm – Silky whose irresistible stage persona combines angriness with silliness. He has a mastery of the descriptive phrase and his mix of self-deprecating wit, music and gently quirky material brings audiences together in tears of laughter.

3.20pm – James Dowdswell who appeared in Ricky Gervais’s ‘Extras’, blends comic characters and sketch comedy in an exciting and imaginative way. His observational storytelling is often bizarre but always hilarious.

4.40pm – James Acaster brings his energy and enthusiasm to Nottingham to lure the audience into his fun world. He supported Josie Long on tour in 2010 and since then has gone from strength to strength. His skill at turning everyday incidents into entertaining anecdotes is extraordinary.

 Evening

6.00pm – Nik Coppin who has performed all over the world has a natural carefree and easygoing attitude towards both life and comedy. He confidently engages the audience with his honesty whilst relating his experiences at a somewhat fast pace.

7.20pm – Rob Rouse UK Tour Preview

Currently one of the funniest comedians on the circuit, a celebrity of both radio and TV including Dave’s One Night Stand, Celebrity Juice, 8 Out of Ten Cats and only a few weeks ago he made a guest appearance on Coronation Street.

‘Life Sentences’ is the name of his new show and this is a great opportunity to see his material before the tour starts. It’s about men versus women; which will both intrigue you and make you laugh.

8.40pm – Christian Riley who at the age of 15, Christian Reilly joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both fascinates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.
