Crash Jacket formed in 2010 and are becoming a regular fix to the Nottingham live music scene, with shows combining elements of Funk, Rock, Dance and hip hop, the band sure are not afraid of getting outside of their comfort zone and to experiment with their amazing sound.

The band consists of; Oliver Whitehead-Vocals and Guitar, Sean Barry- Lead Guitar, Adam Fletcher- Bass, Joseph Glenn-Drums.

Early this year Crash Jacket toured around the midlands, and have recently performed on the main stage of Nottingham Rock City, one of UK’s most famous, best live music venues. The band has formed a good solid fan-base which will allow them to take their live shows further afield.

The guys took to the stage again at Europe’s largest unsigned and tribute act festival with over 10,000 people who attended, the aptly named festival Glastonbudget festival, was promised to be a great show for the boys and proved to be.

The band have had great success with their single You Could Be Here and recently played it live for the first time at Nottingham Rock City, on the main stage. The band gives off great sounds of awesome bass and breath-taking riffs. The blend of Indie, Dance, Rock and Funky beats fuses all of the sounds that will make you get up onto your feet and will blow your mind.

Whitehead’s vocals are very Kasabian-esque in their song City Crawler, and their Joy Division sounding band in the song as well, the singles are very good, and they make you want to get up and dance like no one’s watching. Near end of City Crawler there is an unexpected Guitar and Drum solo that is to die for that sends chills down your back, it’s enchanting.
