British rock favourites, The Darkness, are back with a brand new single called “Walking Through Fire.” Known for their big guitars and even bigger personality, the band delivers a powerful track about the tough, exciting, and sometimes crazy path of making music.
Frontman Justin Hawkins said, “This song is about sticking with something even when it gets hard. Being a musician isn’t always easy, but the rewards are worth it.”
The new single sets the scene for the group’s eighth album, Dreams On Toast, which will be released on March 28, 2025, through Cooking Vinyl. Fans can expect the classic Darkness sound—bold riffs, catchy choruses, and plenty of attitude—with a fresh twist.
The album also features recent singles “I Hate Myself” and “The Longest Kiss,” showcasing the band’s ability to mix things up while staying true to their rock roots.
To celebrate the album, The Darkness will hit the road across the UK for their Dreams On Toast Tour, with 18 live shows culminating in a huge finale at London’s OVO Wembley Arena on March 29. Indie-rockers Ash will join as special guests, reuniting two bands who’ve rocked together since the early days.
