Can you support a new rock radio station? Music Features by Editor - November 26, 2014November 26, 20140 www.LyricLoungeReview.co.uk has always been fiercely independent; we hand pick our advertisers, we support acts at all levels and offer the widest range of festival coverage from hundreds of spectators to the tens of thousands. Pledge music and Kickstarter have long been favourites of ours – https://www.lyricloungereview.co.uk/arthur-brown-launches-pledge-music-campaign-offering-a-new-album-his-fire-helmet-and-exclusive-performances/ https://www.lyricloungereview.co.uk/hawk-eyes-new-e-p-pledge-campaign/ https://www.lyricloungereview.co.uk/bruce-foxton-reveals-details-of-the-pledgemusic-campaign-to-fund-new-studio-album-due-for-release-in-october-2012/ That’s just a few! So I’d like to present a new project: U Rock Radio. They aren’t after much and they sound like they’ve got the right attitude. Independent radio is VITAL to giving new bands exposure. Without it, these days, radio stations are only interested in selling time to the highest bidder. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather listen to an hour of great stuff I don’t know than 4 minutes of corporate rubbish.
