BUCKCHERRY ANNOUNCE NOV/DEC 2012 UK TOUR Music News by Editor - September 24, 20120 L.A’s finest rock act, Buckcherry will be returning to UK shores this autumn for a headline tour. The band will play 8 dates, starting at Nottingham’s Rock City on Nov 20th 2012 and finishing at London’s Electric Ballroom on Dec 6th as well as headlining Hard Rock Hell VI Festival on Dec 2nd. Merging punk grit, gutter attitude, honest storytelling, and razor sharp hooks, Buckcherry don’t play by the rules. Their no-frills approach to making music was solidified from the beginning, when Josh Todd (vocals) and Keith Nelson (guitar) started cutting tracks in Todd’s bedroom, and finally grew into a quintet with Stevie D (guitar), Jimmy Ashhurst (bass) and Xavier Muriel (drums). With their third album ’15’, Buckcherry became an international platinum-selling phenomenon, moving over one million copies in the US alone, this was consolidated on 2010’s ‘All Night Long’ which propelled the band’s sales to over 3 Million. Buckcherry’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with will continue with on sixth album ‘Confessions’, to be released in January 2013. Says Josh Todd: “Looking forward to getting back to the UK and fucking shit up over there, we have a great new record coming out soon and these shows will lay the foundation for a rock n’ roll revolution!” Live, these five musicians can bring any crowd to its feet. Barely ever taking a break, the band relentlessly tours every corner of the world from the U.S. and South America to Germany, Japan, Australia, and the UK.
