  • Write For Us!

Lyric Lounge Review has undergone a massive expansion in the last 3 months; we now reach an audience of 25k+ internationally, we are judging the UK’s largest unsigned music competition, we have increased our article base through regular bloggers. We opened the Comedy Lounge this year as well as a new unsigned artists section. That’s not the end either! We are currently in talks to expand overseas – more on this at a later date ;)

So this means we have several openings for writers and reviewers. We need dedicated and enthusiastic musos to write interesting articles or knowledgable reviews. Past experience not essential but you will be asked to submit a sample of your writing. At the moment we desperately need more reviewers! We have submissions coming out of our ears ( no, really. I tried covering my ears but that didn’t work at all).

So what do you get in return? Well, the work is unpaid – we are a not for profit company. Even I do not get paid! We run this site for the love of music and we hope to attract more like-minded writers. What we can offer, however, is exposure to a huge audience – very useful for those who intend to go on to paid journalism. We can also offer free gig tickets wherever we can. This, of course, is dependent mostly on your location and ability to travel but we can work out the finer details later!

So, if you are interested, drop me an email, lyriclounge@aol.co.uk AND jrussell@lyricloungereview.co.uk

Thanks!
