Funhouse Comedy returns to Bartons, Chilwell, Nottingham on Saturday April 7th for a laughter-packed night of fun.
Headlining is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’, ‘Live at the Palladium’ and ‘Max & Paddy’. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everyone.
Support comes from comedian and radio presenter Steve N.Allen, who has appeared on BBC2’s ‘The Mash Report’. With his amusingly witty anecdotes about the world of radio and his failed attempts at romance, he keeps the audience laughing out loud.
Also appearing will be deadpan Peter Brush, who was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award 2013 and has written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’; as well as supporting Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos on tour. Sometimes referred to as a geek, his mind seems to find the oddities in ‘normality’! His imaginative use of words and strange lines of thought, results in unique and sharp material.
The lively and likeable Spiky Mike is host and compere for the night.
Tickets are £10 in advance
